Le saxophoniste / clarinettiste Laurent Rochelle dévellope dans cet album solo un univers poétique teinté de mélancolie. Connu pour son travail au sein du groupe Monkomarok, il s’attaque ici à un exercice de style trés différent passant d’un instrument à l’autre en mélangeant les couleurs et les styles les plus divers ( valse pianotée, electro bidouillée, blues, marche funèbre...).La clarinette basse marque cet album de sa voix ronde et plaintive et le piano n’est pas sans rappeler E.Satie ou Philip Glass. Inclassable !
